Aurinko students travel in from across Bengaluru every morning. Our fleet of school buses is maintained to a high standard, equipped, inspected, and staffed, so parents can send their child off and not think about it again until they are home.
Routes are assessed regularly to keep travel times as short as possible, covering all major areas of the city.
Our Fleet
What Every Aurinko Bus Has
Every bus in our fleet meets Karnataka Transport Department guidelines for school vehicles and is renewed annually. Here is what you will find on board:
- Seatbelts on every seat are compulsory for all passengers
- Speed governor set to 60 km/hour
- CCTV cameras
- Fire extinguisher
- First aid box
- Emergency exit
- Under-seat storage for school bags
- Trained attendant on board
- Pollution clearance — Bharat 3 or 4 Emission norms
- Annual Fitness Certificate from the Regional Transport Office
- School name and contact number displayed on the vehicle
- Painted yellow, clearly marked “School Bus” front and back
Our Transport Partner
In Good Hands
Our buses are operated by Sri Uma Maheshwari Travels, a partner we have worked with for over 15 years. Every driver holds a valid heavy vehicle licence and has the experience to match. Staff who travel on the bus are held to the same rules as students, no exceptions.

Students are expected to follow all safety rules on the bus and respect the authority of the driver. The same standards of behaviour that apply in school apply on the journey to and from it.
If a student is reported for not following safety guidelines, Aurinko reserves the right to suspend transport privileges immediately for a period proportional to the incident, and up to the remainder of the school year if necessary.
